Lost In a Ceo

Gary Coyle’s current  exhibition “Lost in a Ceo” at the MOLi Museum Dublin, is a commission from the Arts Council of Ireland and the Moli Museum, and is a response to and a rumination on Peig Seyers. It comprises of  two distinct  parts, a room sized  digital drawing “ The West, “ which is based on the rocks around The Blasket Islands though filtered through the lense of “Orientalism” and a film essay which combines spoken word with moving and still imagery which meditates on the idea  of “The West” and Irish Identity combined with autobiography. The Exhibition runs until October 2022.
